FBME upgrades its e-Banking service FBME DiRECT

We are pleased to inform you of the impending launch of the upgraded FBME DiRECT e-Banking service.

 

The official launch date of the new FBME DiRECT is 19th October 2009.

 

What Users can expect when logging in for the first time

When first logging in from 19th October 2009, existing Users can expect to see the current functions of FBME DiRECT in a simplified style allowing smoother navigation throughout the system.

 

Changes effecting Corporate Administrators

The main enhancement for the new FBME DiRECT is that the corporate Users’ access will now be administered by the Bank. Any changes to the corporate User access rights, including the resetting of User passwords or the deletion of existing corporate Users, should be instructed to the Bank using the Amendments to Existing User form. This form can be downloaded from our website via the ‘Downloads’ section.

 

The existing Corporate Administrator User may be retained by those clients who still wish to self-administer their corporate Users using the 'Map Account', 'Unlock User', 'Set Transaction Limits' and 'Map Initiator/Authoriser' functions.

 

To create new Users all applicants are required to complete the New User Application form located in the ‘Downloads’ section of the Bank’s website.

 

The amended e-Banking Special Conditions can be found on the FBME DiRECT login page at https://www.fbmedirect.com or via the ‘Downloads’ section of our website.

 

Added security features

At FBME security is our prime concern and we have employed state-of-the-art fraud prevention and detection technology to actively protect your finances and personal information.

How to login

Corporate and personal Users may access FBME DiRECT by clicking the ‘Online Banking’ link found on our website at www.fbme.com or directly by typing https://www.fbmedirect.com into their browser.

 

Please note that there may be some disruption to the e-Banking service prior to the upgrade ‘go-live’ date. We ask for our clients’ understanding during this transition period. All e-Banking Users will be notified by bulletin on FBME DiRECT prior to any downtime required for this purpose.
