FBME Card Services Ltd - ISO Certification

On the 26th of November 2009 at the Hilton Park Nicosia, FBMECS held a press conference to proudly announce the certification of our entire company in accordance with the ISO/IEC 27001:2005 International Standard: the first of its kind in Cyprus.

We pride ourselves in offering a fast and efficient service to match the increasing demands of today's global payment systems. We also provide a comprehensive array of other card related services such as customised card products in order to meet the specific needs of merchants, corporations and institutions. Our ISO/IEC 27001:2005 certification has been one of our top priorities over the past 3 years and we are delighted to officially announce its successful completion.

ISO/IEC 27001:2005 covers all types of organizations and specifies the requirements for establishing, implementing, operating, monitoring, reviewing, maintaining and improving a documented Information Security Management System within the context of the organization's overall business risks. It specifies requirements for the implementation of security controls customized to the needs of individual organizations or parts thereof. The standard is designed to ensure the selection of adequate and proportionate security controls that protect information assets and give confidence to interested parties. While continuing to offer top quality service, the ISO certification offers our customers an extra assurance of security and peace of mind.
