The Kipato Account is a savings account designed to provide clients with a monthly income from their savings. The minimum opening deposit is TZS 300,000, with subsequent deposits of TZS 50,000 or more.

Rates and fees

·          Earn up to *6.00% p.a. for accounts with balances TZS 300,000 or more.

·          No Interest that will be paid when a balance is less than TZS 300,000.

 Features

     ·          Interest is calculated daily and paid monthly to your nominated FBME Savings or
    Current account;

     ·          Withdrawal of all or part of the balance is permitted without penalty by giving 
    30 days notice;

         ·          Withdrawal of up to 10% of the balance is permitted without penalty once in each 
                calendar quarter;

     ·           Statements are issued on a quarterly basis.
